Scholarship Program
We provide scholarships to those coming from Indonesia, Australia, and the UAE to pursue a master’s degree in Japan, as well as to those going from Japan to study in these three countries.
We provide scholarships to those coming from Indonesia, Australia, and the UAE to pursue a master’s degree in Japan, as well as to those going from Japan to study in these three countries.
While there are many scholarship organizations in Japan for international students, the majority of them target students who have already come to Japan and are enrolled in Japanese universities or graduate schools.
The distinctive feature of the Foundation is that we select and recruit overseas residents who wish to obtain a master's degree in Japan from the pre-departure stage. This enables talented individuals to prepare for their study abroad in a planned manner without financial concerns.
Selection of Study Destination
Applicants are free to choose their study destination. Applicants select the Japanese graduate school or laboratory of their choice and directly contact the professor who will become their future academic supervisor. At the time of application, submission of an LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from the accepting professor is mandatory, and we support study abroad based on a clear research plan.
Scholarship Benefits
In addition to full coverage of round-trip travel expenses, pre-departure Japanese language learning costs, examination fees, admission fees, and tuition fees, we provide monthly scholarships to create an environment where students can concentrate on their studies. Please refer to the Application Guidelines for details.
While many scholarship organizations in Japan target students studying in Europe and the United States, the Foundation supports study destinations of Indonesia, Australia, and the UAE. By promoting bidirectional human resource exchange with these countries, we contribute to deepening mutual understanding and building sustainable friendly relations.
